No oak barrels here, just two months of aging on its lees in concrete tank. ‘El Recio’: A perfect balance between youth and maturity. From 90 year old Tinta de Toro vineyards, the wine spends 14 months in second use oak, soft edges here, no harsh ones. ‘El Viejo’: the older one, a selection of only the best grapes from vines which average 110 years of age. 16 months in new French oak barrels. Extremely limited production. Rare and rich stuff.
